The Daiwa Zakana Casting Jig – Pink is a streamlined metal casting jig built for anglers who need distance, accuracy, and a natural baitfish presentation. Designed for saltwater fishing inshore or offshore, its aerodynamic body punches through wind while the hydrodynamic profile delivers a subtle swimming action once it hits the water.

Key Features

• Long-Casting Profile: Slim metal body is engineered to cast far with stability and accuracy, even when conditions are breezy.
• Horizontal Line Tie: Helps the jig swim naturally and maintain a baitfish-like posture through different retrieve speeds.
• Saltwater-Ready Hardware: Wire-through construction, heavy-duty split rings, and a VMC saltwater-grade treble hook support confident hook-ups.

Named from Japanese slang for small baitfish, the Zakana helps match forage when predators are keyed in on compact bait. The pink finish adds visibility and flash, making it a smart choice for tuna, dorado, striped bass, halibut, lingcod, wahoo, and other aggressive game fish. Fish it with fast retrieves, vertical jigging strokes, or even trolling applications when conditions call for a compact metal lure.

Daiwa offers the Zakana in multiple weights so anglers can adjust presentation to current, depth, casting distance, and target species. It is a versatile Daiwa jig for tackle boxes built around inshore and offshore saltwater fishing.
