The Fishpond Thunderhead Four-Piece Rod & Reel Case – Echo Shale is built to protect valuable fly rods and reels from the hard knocks of travel, boat decks, and rough days on the water. Designed for four-piece rods, this rugged rod and reel case combines crush-resistant protection with weather-ready materials to keep your setup organized, secure, and ready for the next session.

Key Features

• Crushproof Protection: Durable rod tube inserts and a molded end cap help guard rod sections and reels from impact during transport.
• Weather-Resistant Build: 1680D TPU-coated Cyclepond fabric, welded waterproof seams, and a YKK AquaGuard water-resistant zipper help shed water and debris.
• Travel-Ready Carry: Fishponds signature rope handle and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap make it easy to carry through airports, to the truck, or down to the boat.
• Boat-Friendly Attachment: Integrated lash tabs allow the case to be secured to a boat frame, gunwale, or other travel setup.

Ideal for anglers who want reliable rod storage without separating reels from rods, this Fishpond case offers padded protection around the reel seat and practical organization for fishing travel. The Echo Shale color gives it a clean, understated look while the rugged construction handles freshwater, saltwater, and destination fly fishing demands.

The four-piece version measures 36 x 8 x 6 inches and accommodates rod sections up to 34.5 inches long.
