The Hawken Simon Hot Tails 2-Pack is a compact trolling lure designed to imitate a crippled baitfish and trigger reaction strikes from salmon, steelhead, kokanee, sockeye, coho, chinook, walleye, and more. At just over an inch long, each buoyant Hot Tail spins easily inline to create a tight, wounded-bait roll that performs even at very slow trolling speeds. Available in multiple fish-catching color patterns, these lures are built for versatile freshwater and saltwater trolling setups.

Key Features

• Wounded Baitfish Action: A distinctive rolling action helps provoke aggressive strikes from predatory fish.
• Buoyant Sealed Body: Completely sealed construction adds durability and keeps the lure working reliably in changing conditions.
• Multi-Species Performance: Effective for salmon, steelhead, kokanee, sockeye, silvers, chinook, walleye, and other trolling targets.
• Rigging Versatility: Fish behind dodgers, 360 flashers, worm harnesses, or while back trolling and anchored in current.

Simon Hot Tails are designed to be fished with bait but can also be run without bait behind an attractor with excellent results. For best action and bait clearance, stack at least two 4 mm beads behind the lure, adding more as needed. For super-slow trolling speeds, use a 3 mm bead closest to the lure followed by 4 mm beads.

Each package includes two Hot Tails in the selected color pattern, giving anglers a ready-to-rig option for proven trolling presentations.
