The Savage Gear Real Eel Jig 12 in 5 1/3 oz – Black is a lifelike saltwater jig built to imitate one of the most natural forage profiles in the ocean. Its pre-rigged jig head design gives anglers a ready-to-fish eel presentation with a realistic swimming action that attracts aggressive strikes from hard-fighting predators.

Key Features

• Realistic Eel Profile: Anatomically detailed head design with lifelike eyes, mouth, and gill details helps create a convincing baitfish presentation.
• Oversized Whip Tail: Produces strong movement and vibration whether jigged vertically, worked through structure, or retrieved steadily.
• Saltwater-Tough Build: Durable PVC soft plastic body and heavy-duty jig hook are made for demanding saltwater fishing conditions.
• Ready To Fish: Pre-rigged jig head configuration maximizes ease of use while maintaining a natural swimming action.

Savage Gear designed the Real Eel Jig for anglers targeting species such as stripers, cobia, grouper, lingcod, and other saltwater game fish. The black color offers a strong silhouette in low light, stained water, or deep presentations where contrast can make the difference. At 12 inches and 5 1/3 oz, this Savage Gear jig is well suited for larger predators, deeper water, current, and situations where a bigger bait profile is needed.
