With actions covering a broad spectrum of popular salmon and steelhead techniques, Shimano designed the all-new Scimitar series with a distinctive high-end look. The collection features extended rear and foregrips to balance longer blanks necessary for effectively presenting spoons, blades and crankbaits. These powerful and lightweight spinning, casting, trolling and float rods feature Titanium Oxide guides for increased casting distance and durability, especially for anglers who prefer using PowerPro braided line. All Scimitar Salmon/Steelhead series rods are available in a highly-transportable 2-piece configuration. Durable yet lightweight and ultra-sensitive, the redesigned Scimitar Salmon/Steelhead strikes an ideal balance of value and performance.
