The Victron Energy Orion XS DC-DC Battery Charger is built for reliable auxiliary battery charging in RVs, boats, vans, work vehicles, and off-grid mobile power systems. Designed for dual-battery installations charged by an alternator, it delivers controlled charging for the service battery while helping protect the starter battery from unwanted discharge.

Key Features

• Smart Alternator Support: Engine shutdown detection helps the charger operate only when alternator power is available, making it ideal for modern vehicles with Euro 5 or Euro 6 smart alternators.
• Programmable Charging: Adjustable charge settings and adaptive multi-stage charging support a wide range of battery types and installation requirements.
• Bluetooth Monitoring: Built-in Bluetooth Smart works with the VictronConnect app for setup, monitoring, alarms, and software updates from a phone or tablet.
• System Integration: VE.Direct connectivity enables wired communication with compatible Victron GX devices for advanced monitoring and control.

Victron Energy designed the Orion XS for efficient, high-output DC-DC charging where cable runs, voltage drop, or alternator behavior can limit battery performance. It can also be configured as a DC power supply, giving installers added flexibility in marine, vehicle, and mobile electrical systems.

With an IP20 rating, screw-terminal DC connections, and support for parallel installation where increased output is needed, this Victron charger is a strong choice for clean indoor electrical compartments, camper conversions, marine auxiliary banks, and professional 12-volt or 24-volt power builds.
