The Yakima Bait Mag Lip 3.0 – Metallic Perch is a deep-diving trolling plug built for anglers targeting salmon, steelhead, trout, and other aggressive game fish. Its distinctive diving lip helps the lure reach productive water quickly while maintaining a steady track in current, making it a dependable choice for boat trolling, backtrolling, and river presentations.

Key Features

• Deep-Diving Action: Designed to get down in the strike zone and hold its running depth during controlled trolling passes.
• Skip-Beat Movement: The Mag Lip action creates an erratic, fish-triggering motion that helps draw reaction strikes from salmon, steelhead, and trout.
• Metallic Perch Finish: A natural baitfish-inspired color with flash and contrast for visibility in a range of freshwater conditions.
• Current-Ready Tracking: Built to run true in heavier river flows, making it useful for plugs, plunking setups, and boat-based presentations.

Yakima Bait is well known among Northwest anglers for proven salmon and steelhead lures, and the Mag Lip series has earned a place in tackle boxes for its combination of depth, action, and reliability. The 3.0 size is especially versatile when fish are keying on compact bait profiles but still need a plug with enough presence to get noticed.

Use this Yakima Bait trolling plug when working seams, tailouts, travel lanes, or deeper holding water where a consistent diving crankbait-style presentation can turn following fish into committed biters.
